...I am having a hard time this year adjusting to the time change. I am SO TIRED every night, by like 8pm. I think it's because it's our first year being in school and really following a tight schedule. Alarm for wake-up, alarm for getting shoes and coat on, alarm for when the bus is almost coming home. Last Wednesday we went to AWANA 15 minutes early because it was pitch dark and I could NOT convince Eli that we really weren't late, we just changed the clock etc. "But it isn't NORMAL!" he insisted. So hey, why not. We were already ready plenty early so off we went just to wait. Seriously though, anyone else still struggling this year??
Big time struggling! I have a history of Seasonal Affective Disorder, and I felt like it instantly started once we did the time change. Looking into getting a light therapy lamp this year to help.
ReplyDeleteUm YES!!! The time change this year is totally kicking my butt and I have no idea why! Glad to hear I'm not the only one! lol I'm hoping I'll catch up by the time it's time to "spring forward"...GROAN!!!
ReplyDeletemy kids are kind of oblivious to the time change. thankfully. I'm tired though. I hadn't thought of blaming it on the time change. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I'm so tired by eight (I went to be then last night in fact), but I'm wide awake around 4:30 which is just too early to be up if I'm going to make it through the day! And the boys - the boys are all mixed up! Gavin keeps trying to get up at five which means he's not making it to his normal afternoon nap time which means he's tired to early at night which starts the whole vicious cycle over again. Why do we have to have time changes????
