I've been waiting to post these 'til Hannah was ACTUALLY 3. We took them just a couple days after her party while the balloons were still looking nice. Who knew more than a week later and they'd STILL be floating high?!
And if you're wondering about the backdrop... Indeed, it's wrapping paper again! From Walmart, about the only print to choose unless I wanted princesses. This time I used the dining room and lined it right up with the white trim. Love how it looks! BUT it's best to take it down right away or else...
the 1 yr old might get at it! =)
LOVE these shots! I keep meaning to ask you - what kind of camera do you have?
ReplyDeleteOh, and how do you use the wrapping paper backdrop and not get too much glare from it's shiny-ness?
Thanks, Kathy! I have Nikon D40. And as for the wrapping paper, it still does get kind of shiny in spots, you can tell from some of the pics. For head shots you'd definitely have to stand at angle and you won't get that shine. At this post (http://inlightofthetruth.blogspot.com/2011/01/photography-backgrounds.html) you can see the difference between the straight-on shot and the shot taken at an angle.
ReplyDeleteShe is SO grown up!! I esp love the pictures taken from up above - and the one with her tongue out :) so cute!
ReplyDeletewrapping paper- good tip! Thanks. I love the pics. what a cutie:)
ReplyDelete:) Way to go on the pics.
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable. :) :) :) :)
Those pics of Hannah are so cute! I love her outfit -- and hair fixed -- and cute little smile -- and bright eyes... How did you happen to get them all to work out at the same time to capture as pictures? ;-)
