{is that redundant??}
Anyway...
Discovery #1 Scooping chili with tortilla chips instead of crackers. Makes it like a dip (which is common in the first place) instead of soup. And it's even better topped with a little cheese. We had tortilla chips left from something, and we're almost out of Saltines, thus leading to this yummy surprise.
Discovery #2 Microwaving cookies. Just pop your cookie in the microwave for about 20 seconds and it comes out like it was just freshly baked. Yumm...
And that, my friends, was my important work for today.

Totally!
this is a common meal around here.
Frito pie. add a little lettuce cheese and sour cream baby!
you know, I never thought about that with the chili! Great idea!
Ahh yes ... we use the nuke the cookie trick all the time! BUT THEN... add a scoop of ice cream to a warm cookie and oooo oooo yum yum!!
It's also really good to broil, or pan fry tortillas. Cut them into strips and then add just a teeny bit of oil to the pan. Fry until just golden and salt! Yum! Also, chili is SO good with Fritos!
Oh I LOVE using Fritos for tacos and they're good with cottage cheese too surprisingly. But Fritos aren't something we usually buy very often ever. Tortilla chips however we end up using for a lot of various things, and quite often we need a way to use them up.
Thank you! What a wonderful blog. This is my first time visiting. It's so full of light and joy in the Lord, it makes you smile. I love your yummy suggestions. I've done both. (smile)
I would like to follow your blog, but I didn't see a Friend Connect link.(Google) I'll bookmark it for now. May God continue to rain His blessings on you and your beautiful family.
