Could you do it?

If your husband told you that you could just wad up his undershirts in the drawer because they are after all just undershirts, could you do it??

I can't.  Must take the time to roll them neatly and arrange them in the drawer.

Now if my husband asked me to wad up his undershirts in the drawer, then after asking again to make sure that's really what he wanted, I definitely would.

But what about you?  Could you just save yourself some time and wad the shirts as your husband suggested??

Just curious.

This is something I had to get used to very early on in our marriage. I always folded Justin's shirts and boxers and paired up his socks.

He just threw them in this drawers. And had to tell me repeatedly to just throw 'em in before I could actually do it. Especially the socks. I hate not knowing if I don't have full sets of socks (even though all his socks are the same...exactly the same...lol)

I fold the underwear too! And when the T-shirt drawer starts to get all messy again, I re-fold! Now the socks... sometimes they get paired but most of the time they get shoved in the drawer. If that. Kevin likes to pile them all on top of the dresser instead. Perhaps though maybe we should get ALLL new socks so they all match!

HAHA! Absolutely! In fact, we bought some drawer storage for his closet so we could do just that. We just toss them all in. No folding undershits for me! Now, we do match socks...but definitely DO NOT fold underwear...just toss 'em in!

No. I do wad up my own stuff sometimes though if I'm getting lazy, but I like Anthony's stuff to be nice. I even hate when his shirts are wrinkly but I don't iron them unless he asks or I'm feeling super ambitious. :D

If he had a drawer (which he doesn't), if I did his laundry (I usually only help... he does the bulk of it), and if he ask, I probably would. I usually try to wash the clothes on my lunch break. He dries them when we get home. Then we both work at folding in the evening or on the weekend. But, honestly, he usually does the bulk of the laundry. He's good at it. He puts my stuff just how I like it and tosses his around like he likes it. Works great.

Well if you knew my husband you would know that it is beyond comprehension that he would ever say such a thing to me. LOL But I can say, I couldn't do it. Unless like you said that's what he really wanted. :)

Ok so it's taken me forever to reply to this but I still felt the need.
NO WAY! EVERYTHING in this house gets folded and matched. Boxers (and even my undies too), shirts, socks (matched and folded over, not just paired and put in the drawer that kinda drives me crazy! ha). Organization is a must and sorry, I'd have to refold every day if they were just tossed in there. Ours are even color coded... haha. Makes it easier to find in the morning. Ok so maybe that's taking it too far ! :)
