Me and my babes.

Eli just turned 4 yesterday, Carter turned 6 months last week, and Hannah's almost 2.5, so I thought now's such a great time to get some family shots. And yesterday morning being overcast was a PERFECT time to do pictures (cuz then you don't have to worry about too MUCH sun or shadows) I plopped the kids down for some sibling shots and then at the end hopped in for a few pictures too. Love the tripod and camera remote! Then after Kevin woke up we managed to get just a couple family pics. But for now here's the kids and me!

Wow! Love them! Especially love the angle of the kids alone. Can that remote work on any camera??

Thanks, Mary! I was standing to the side of the camera doing jump splits (except NOT splits) to get the kids to smile while I pushed the button on the remote. Mine is a Nikon remote so you should check your camera brand and see if you have one and if your camera has that option. My remote setting is in the same menu option as the self-timer option. It would be sooo nice if you could use it too! I love mine!

Oh, I love the second picture! Also love the story of you getting the kids to smile. :-) I thought you were getting your hair cut. Did you? It still looks long and gorgeous!

Amy, I do love being a mom of three. Our family feels wonderfully complete. =)

Amanda, I did get my hair cut, mostly just a healthy trim though. Kevin likes it long so I'm keeping it long, at least for now. Though I have to say, I haven't "done" it ALL summer because it's simply too hot to have down!
