Monday Meanderings - Oct. 11

Gosh, I see it's been a little while since I've actually posted a MM??  Here I am!!  Busy week, but a fun one!

Bible Study... Start Week 4 lessons of No Other Gods, also reading One Thousand Gifts and learning how to have a life of gratitude and contentment, and doing some studying in Philippians.

Memory Verse...  Philippians 4:4-9
vs. 5 "Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near."

Husband Encouragement...
♥ Try to avoid scheduling so much on his days off.
♥ See if I can help with any projects this week.

Train Them Up...
* AWANA verses.
* homework for Eli (He's not assigned homework, so I often "assign" homework FOR him, so he can get some extra practice on the things they're doing in school.)
* Letter practice with Hannah.

Personal Goals...
* Schedule hair cut
* Get back on workout routine
* Continue to limit FB (starting to slip back into old routine!)

New Habit of the Month...  {october} Rise early. 30 minutes is too short but 45 minutes of quiet time is just about perfect.

MUST Do...
* Moppet lessons, setup at the church
* email prayer partner
* organize clothes
* get a birthday card
* start thinking about Christmas
* put up Fall decs.
* take the tape off in the playroom

Zone(s)... basement room/kids clothes

Menu - TBD

* MOPS meeting tomorrow
* Photoshoots Wednesday and Thursday
* Kevin's off til Friday

3 things I'm thankful for today...
1. Reunion this past weekend and reconnecting with some old friends!
2. Safe travels. It's never something to take for granted.
3. Rain. It hasn't been as much as expected but any amount is soo needed right now!

Oh I'm needing a hair cut too. :S I'm ready to chop it off myself LOL

How do you study the Bible? Isn't that a dumb question but I just don't know how.
