Day 4: Something green
Plain and simple today.
Growing corn. In the field behind our house.
It was actually a lot smaller than I thought it would be,
considering the sweet corn season is upon us
and is nice and good size
and oh so yummy.

well, not really. We'd shucked all that corn because we'd just received it from someone and I wanted it shucked before we brought it inside. With corn fresh on my mind, I used it as my green thing. But was surprised at how small it was in comparison when I went to the field this morning!
